Once painfully shy, she forged on to become a professional speaker for over 25 years. As of today, she has presented over 3,000 presentations in ten countries. Sheryl has opened on stages for Marie Osmond, closed for Geena Davis, presented programs alongside Olivia Newton-John and Suze Orman.

Sheryl Roush is a top-rated international trainer with over 30 years of experience in the communication business: in person, in public and in print. Additionally, she is honored by both the Los Angeles and San Diego Chapters of the National Speakers Association as Member of the Year; LA’s Golden Microphone; plus the Presidential Citation from Toastmasters International for enhancing global communication and leadership. Sheryl was the youngest female and 12th overall to earn the elite Accredited Speaker designation for outstanding professionalism, from over 4.4 million members in 130 countries, ranked in six categories. To date, there are only 66 who have earned the title.

As a 17-time published author both books entered into contests have won their respective titles:
Heart of a Military Woman, San Diego Book Awards, 2009 Best Inspirational Book; and Heart of a Toastmaster, International Book Awards, 2014 Best Anthology. Heart of a Woman has been published in Spanish, and in Mexico. Solid Gold Newsletter Design is a course book for the University of Ottawa for graphic communications and marketing classes.

Sheryl has been the speaking and media coach for the San Diego Charger Girl dance and cheer squad for 15 years, boosting confidence for TV and radio interviews. She also coaches Southwest Airlines and Deepak Chopra’s lecture team
